I screamed, but not loud enough that my mother could hear. My eyes were bugging out of their sockets. I let out a raspy gasp, and I swore my eyes rolled to the back of my slanted head. Finally, Declan pulled away, and I could breathe. Blood was covering his smirking lips.

"Now, do you want to be a vampire, Miss Jamsey?" Declan asked. I replied in a dizzy state, "Yes, I do." "Well, do you mind if I kill you?" "W-What?" I said paniced. "Relax, Jamsey. That's basically how you become a vampire. At first, I didn't know about that, for I was born a vampire. I watched my little sister 'burn' into a vampire, and I think that's what is going to happen to you unless I kill you." "Well, how long will this 'burning' take?" "All night, my sweet."

"Okay, Declan. Do it. I'm ready," I said. Declan walked up to me, picked my limp form up, and threw me on the bed softly. He made sure that I was comfortable. All of a sudden, I felt like I was on fire. The inside of my body blazed, and I started to hypervenilate. "Don't fight it or you'll die for real!" Declan warned. I tried my best to not fight the burning, but I was being unsuccessful.

A few hours later, the burning was finally subsiding. I was very glad, for it sort of hurt after a while. Now, I see how Bella felt in Twilight when she got bit by James. My body relaxed, and I slowly drifted to sleep. Jamsey... Jamsey... Jamsey. I couldn't figure out who was calling my name.

A few more times they called me, and I regognized their voice. It was my vampire boyfriend, Declan. My eyes slowly peeled open to see what Declan wanted. "Hey," he said. I replied, "Hey." My voice didn't sound like it usually did, but I pushed that thought to the side. "Um...How are you feeling?" "Good, I guess." "Do you feel thirsty or is your throat burning?" "Yes, but what am I thirsty for?" "Blood. Rich human and/or animal blood. Let us go into the woods and feed our immortal hearts out. Shall we?" "Yes, we shall."
