The Doctor's figure faded, just as a single tear ran down his face. The universe sang with the sound of a million planets deaths. It was dark, constantly and nothing would change the loss of Rose.
On another Universe, Rose was in hysterics. She knew she has finally lost him completely; there was little hope for returning to her beloved. She may as well be dead, or he. It didn't matter. They didn't exist if they weren't in each other's arms. And although she was so very far away, an impossible distance that not even the TARDIS could travel, the sad song that rang our in the Doctor's ears reached Roses. It was their song, the one that belonged to only them. The one that kept them going. And it wasn't to be forgotten, as the universes wept.
