Summary: Life while Edward was human.
Edward's P.O.V.
I woke to the usual sound of our maid, Theresa, drawing the curtains.
"Good Morning, Master Edward" Theresa smiled.
Theresa had been our maid since before I was a baby.
She had been my Mother's friend and was in deep need of work, so my parent's hired her.
She was getting weaker with age though.
" Good Morning,Theresa" I said, in between a yawn.
I quickly got dressed.
I hurried down the stairs to find my mother in a rage.
She was holding the newspaper.
On the front was an artical saying that the draft had been lowered to eighteen.
One more year for me.
My father tried to calm her but he had to go to work before he went he whispered
"Edward, do try and calm her, won't you?"
I nodded.
"Mother, you never know the war might be over by then" I said quietly hoping it was not true.
To be a soilder.
I sighed.
I had no intrest in finding a wife, so I took the best posibility.
Unfortunetly, my Mother knew my want. (Correction: Need)
I had told my father and he had told my mother.
I tried to remember the night he told her.
