"I don't understand," Dominick told Jimmy, "Why is it wrong for me to lie but it's okay for you"

That froze Jimmy in his tracks.

"I never said it was okay for me to lie," he said, "and I don't lie"

"Yes you do," Dominck said, "A few days ago when the guy came to the door you told me to tell him you weren't home"

"Yes but that wasn't a real lie," Jimmy said, "That was a white lie"

"Who cares what color the lie is," Dominick asked.

Jimmy sighed.

"A white lie is a little lie that doesn't hurt anyone," he explained, "But you're right. I shouldn't be telling lies either. I was wrong to do that and expect you not to."

"Thank you," Domnick said

"So from now on I won't tell lies anymore and you don't tell lies anymore"

"Okay," Dominick agreed
