FERAL FAUX PAS
DISCLAIMER
Companion piece to Elemental Folly, but can be read alone. Takes place in season three, but not after a particular episode. Belongs to Fox and Marvel Productions. I only own the guy Shalimar talks to. Couple of references to Elemental Folly.
Shalimar Fox looked at the man sitting at the end of the bar counter. He grinned and she gave him a flirtatious look, flipping her blonde hair over her shoulder. Then, she got out of her seat and walked up to him.
"Hey," she greeted, standing in front of him.
"Hi," he said.
"Whatcha drinkin'?" she wondered.
"Gin and Tonic," the man answered.
"Hmmm. Sounds good," Shalimar stated. She then ordered the same drink and the two got to talking. She was unaware that her boyfriend, Brennan Mulwray, was watching the entire. Okay, keep cool, man. It's just a drink, he thought to himself. He was a good boyfriend. He knew that people had drinks with each other all the time. He wasn't going to blow things out of proportion like Shalimar had. The man said something and she threw her head back in laughter. Then, he watched as put a hand on his wrist and leaned in close to the man. The elemental's eyes flashed. Oh, no, he wasn't going to take this. Sharing drinks was one thing, but kissing another guy was a whole different ballgame. He balled a fist and quickly strode towards them.
"Shalimar!" he called. Shalimar turned to him.
"Hey, Bren," she greeted.
"'Hey, Bren'?" he repeated. "That's all you have to say after nearly kissing another guy?" he queried. She laughed. "What's the matter, Brennan? Feelin' little jealous?" she mocked. With a suppressed growl, he grabbed Shalimar's arm, being careful not to hurt her, and pulled away.
"Hey. Dude, back off," the man said.
"It's okay. He's my boyfriend," Shalimar assured him.
"Your--" the man repeated. "You little sl--" he began.
"Oh, you so don't want to finish that sentence," Brennan warned. Then, they walked off, got into his car, and headed back to Sanctuary. Once there, Brennan dragged Shalimar towards his room, ignoring the surprised stares of their teammates, Lexa Pierce and Jesse Kilmartin.
"What's going on there?" Lexa wondered.
"I don't know, but if it's anything like last time, I don't think we want to be anywhere near it," Jesse answered.
"Hmm. Yeah," Lexa agreed. As soon as they were there, Brennan shut the door and locked it. Then, he forced her onto the bed.
"Brennan, come on. It was just one little talk," Shalimar protested.
"You were going to kiss him," Brennan reminded her. "Looks like I'm gonna have to remind you who you belong to," he continued, straddling her. He reached into his drawer and took out a pair of handcuffs.
"And where did you get those?" Shalimar questioned with interest.
"Had 'em for a while," Brennan answered, handcuffing her to the bed. As he did so, the feral tried to wiggle free, but her boyfriend held her down. Then, he ran a finger down her cheek in a caress, and began kissing her neck; an action he knew drove her feral senses wild. Shalimar whimpered and started to struggle against the cuffs.
"Hey, hey, hey. Don't even try it," Brennan warned, holding her down. Then, he let his kisses trail down her neck to her arm, going lower until he reached her hand. Shalimar wiggled, but a scolding squeeze from Brennan's legs stopped her. He then, kissed her roughly on the lips. As he did so, he uncuffed her.
"Now…whose girlfriend are you?" he queried.
"Yours," she responded.
"Oh, you bet you are," he stated, as they sank into the mattress.
