I have been doing this for years I come home snap my fingers and change appearance. My beautiful wife Sally Jackson has no idea I'm Poseidon god of the sea. Among the gods we agreed long ago if we had a child with a mortal we had to leave and not interact with the child Or the mortal parent at all.
Sally Jackson was my first love in almost 50 years in after WW2 my brothers Zeus and Hades we swore we wouldn't have any children because they were to powerful. When my little boy Percy was born I knew he had to be raised right I granted him all the powers that I have just a little less powerful. Sally is the type of person that loves with all her heart and is the sweetest person I have ever met.
After Percy was born I was forced away from Sally and I told her you have to find someone who stinks of horror or you and Percy will be overcome with monsters my scent is overwhelming.
After 15 years I couldn't wait anymore I had to see Sally again. so I know she started college so I decided to become an English at Goode high school. Before that I helped Sally study for her degree. And we bonded again. She still had no idea I was Poseidon. We got drunk one night after studying and We started making out it quickly escalated. In the morning I asked her to marry me... she said yes.
Now every day I come home snap my fingers and become Paul Blofis. If she sees me change I wipe her memory for those seconds and replace it with walking up to me as Paul Blofis.
I love Sally so much and will do anything to keep her safe.
When I heard about Sally and I having a second child another child of the big three. This was dangerous news I swore that I would protect Sally and the new baby at all cost so
So I had to leave I couldn't leave Sally heart broken that I left so I took a mortal who had no family, I gave him Paul's looks, took away his previous memories and replaced them with Paul's everything. I then left placing a ward around Sally's home keeping monsters away.
I will be back when my daughter comes to age I will send her to camp half-blood and I will go back to Sally to live the rest of her life with me.
