"Rachel, stop walking away." Finn said calmly. "Babe, talk to me." "Baby, she didn't mean anything. You know that." The rain was pouring in big droplets now, meaning she had to be careful in the 5-inch pumps she had stupidly chosen for this evening. "Stop fucking walking!" He said, getting progressively louder with each statement. Her face was wet and she didn't know if it was from the rain or her tears. She felt a forceful grip on her arm as he finally got her to stop. "Don't fucking walk away from me, Rachel!" Finn screamed. She had never heard him yell like that before. And he was yelling at her, with a really tight grip on her arm.

"Please don't walk away from me." He pleaded in a less demanding tone, regret in his eyes. Rachel just looked at him. He could feel the anger radiating from her body, almost as strong as the sadness. "What do you want me to fucking say?" She yelled, pushing his grasp of her arm. "Oh, it's okay Finn. I love it when you're all over other girls." She mocked. His breathing was hard, and they were both freezing, and they were both soaking wet now. "All I did was talk to her. She knew about you. She was showing me a picture of her boyfriend, not getting my number. The music was loud, so she had to lean closer, not to whisper in my ear, to yell about how she thinks he's going to purpose next month. And honestly Rach, I didn't give a fuck about anything she had to say. Sometimes I think you're looking for something to get angry about. You know that I love you more than anything on the whole fucking planet. So why do you keep questioning that?" He finished with another deep breath, glad he got everything out.

Rachel was crying hysterically now, not because she was mad at him, but because she was sorry. She had calmed down, and he could tell, so he reached his hand out to grasp hers, and she let him. "Finn, I'm sorry but you have to know this isn't easy. They are all over you always. And I can't just sit there and watch, pretending that you aren't mine! She wasn't a fucking fan! She was a groupie. And I am 99% sure she wanted more than a conversation with you. But, I know I got carried away. I'm sorry. Really sorry." She choked out, her voice raspy and her eyes swollen. "It's okay, I know. I ju-. Can we talk about this when we get inside? We're right outside my apartment, just come back with me like you were supposed to." He still had her hand in his, pulling her towards the lobby of his building. Rachel was still skeptical. "Why aren't you furious with me? You are going to be all over the tabloids tomorrow, and now the whole world will know that I was never a, "family friend", and your publicist is going to kill you and-." She was about to go on a rant but Finn cut her off. "We'll talk. We'll change first, but we'll talk about this. Just come." He pleaded one more time. "Okay." She said, allowing him to kiss her softly on the mouth in the pouring rain before pulling her into a fast-paced walk to his apartment building.
