She wanted to appear mysterious very badly, but the half-smile the reflection in the train's window pane offered her, remained rather shaky instead of the air of graceful eye-brow raising amusement she was aiming for. With the whisper of a sigh she leaned back into the armchair-like comfort of the Hogwarts express seat.

The train had departed some twenty minutes ago and still she could not find neither courage nor will to change into the mandatory school uniform.

What on earth had convinced her that this was a good idea?

They would dismantle this charade in seconds, on the other hand if everything worked, it would take them at least a few days to figure things out.

Still, that Maximilian actually was capable of performing magic on this high a level ― it still irritated me as much as it amazed me. He didn't even look like he was capable of lighting fireworks, but then my appearance had not changed either. Neither had it influenced my lack of natural grace. Maybe with some years of practice I would be capable of performing the same enchantment.
