Disclaimer: Olivia and Alex belong to Dick Wolf, who won't acknowledge their . . . sexual tension . . . onscreen. So we have to live in our fantasyland and it's almost as good.

She thinks she's invincible, and that's what scares Alex the most. She'll gladly take a bullet meant for her partner, because she thinks it won't hurt her as much as it will hurt him. She can be downright stupid sometimes – fearless, but stupid. She'll slam her body into a door and sure enough, it'll crumble – for now – but someday Alex fears that it won't. She'll jump over fences, and it'll be enough, but someday Alex fears it won't be. She'll have her arm sliced with a knife and keep on running.

What Alex has always wanted to tell her, but knows she never will, is that every wound she sustains pierces Alex ten times deeper.
