Run Away With Me.
Andromeda Black/Ted Tonks
He was a muggleborn. So, they fought him like a muggleborn.
In the middle of the Potions corridor, a giant crowd forming.
"What did you say, Hufflepuff?" A leering, emerald and silver tied bully said to Ted.
"I said, I'm in love with Andromeda Black and I won't take it…-" He trailed off. Partially because the bully's fist collided with his face but, mostly because he saw her. He saw the face that was the reason he was getting beaten.
She just watched.
She watched and her face dropped to one of disappointment before disappearing from his sight once more.
With a pleading glance, to no avail, Ted Tonks got pulled back into the fight that he was losing miserably.
Why fight back though? Why fight back when the reason for his pain just walked away?
and then everything stopped.
Time literally stopped.
or, the people were frozen.
Ted watched in confusion as the small, brunette girl with her large blue eyes stepped out from behind someone.
"You. are. an. idiot" The girl said, defining each word with another prod at his chest, before wrapping her arms around his neck and kissing him deeply.
He pulled away after a moment, whispering to her when everyone was frozen, "Run away with me, Black. At the end of this school year, we'll run away together and never look back. No more parents picking our futures, no more war. Please."
Andromeda's eyes were glinted with unshed tears. "I… Ted. Yes"
"Yes?" He said disbelievingly.
"Yes, I said yes! I'll run away with you! I love you Ted Tonks! You just got yourself beaten to a pulp for me. Nothing says I love you like getting interrupted by being punched in the face" Andromeda laughed before kissing Ted once more and tugging at his shirt.
"What are you?" Ted asked curiously.
"Do you want to keep getting hit or would you rather come and spend some quality time with me?" Drom asked coyly.
Without even giving a response, Ted moved to reach for Andromeda's hand and walk down the hallway of frozen students.
Once safely out of reach, Andromeda unfroze all of the people in the Potions corridor.
