Family Meeting
Don quietly sat in his lab, his brown eyes locked on the computer as his fingers ran on the keyboard.
"Don." The olive green Turtle sighed heavily, slowly turned around to see Leo leaning against the door frame. "Master Splinter is calling a family meeting." Don quietly stood up, grabbing his cup of coffee, and follows his big brother to the living room.
Mikey and Raph were already sitting on the couch as the purple and blue masked Turtle joined them. Don slowly looked at his baby brother, noticing him eating a piece of pizza then the olive green Turtle took a sip of his coffee.
"My sons." Splinter said as the Turtles quickly look at him. "I called this meeting for a reason."
"Is something wrong, Father?" Leo asked as his father looked at him.
"Nothing's wrong, Leonardo." The old sensei's brown eyes ran to each of his sons.
"Master Splinter, what's the meeting about?" Raph asked as Mikey bites his pizza. Splinter sighs softly and cleared his throat.
"I want grandchildren." Don spit out his coffee, Mikey began to choke on his pizza, and Leo and Raph quietly stared at their father.
"W-What did you say, sensei?" The blue masked Turtle asked as Don quickly look at his choking baby brother.
"Guys, Mikey's choking!" Don quickly stood up, gave Mikey the Heimlich (ME: I hope I spelled that right) as the orange masked Turtle spits out the food.
"M-Master Splinter, did you say you wanted grandchildren!" Mikey shouted as the old rat nods.
"Father, ya know that will never happen." Raph said softly "Who will fall in love with us? Humans are afraid of us."
"Believe in me, Raphael." Splinter replied softly "You'll find love."
"But Father, why do you want grandchildren all of the sudden?" Leo asked
"I'm getting old, Leonardo." The Turtles quietly stared at their father. "I want to see grandchildren before I die."
"I gotta go." The dark green Turtle said, stands up, and walks away. "I was supposed to meet Casey a few minutes ago." He left the lair as Splinter smiles at his three other sons.
"Um….I gotta finish something in my lab." Don said, running to his lab and leaving Leo and Mikey with the old rat. Splinter slowly opened his mouth to say something as the young ninja quickly stood up.
"I gotta throw away this pizza I choked on and finish beating the boss in my game!" He blurted as he ran out of the room, leaving the Turtle Leader with the old master.
"Leonardo-"
"Sorry Father but I'm going to follow Raph and Casey to make sure they don't get into any trouble!" Leo blurted as he runs out of the lair.
"I wanted to tell them how many grandchildren I wanted." Splinter thought, sighing as he goes to his room to mediate. "I'll tell them later when they're not busy."
