Asami always felt like some fragile doll; hiding behind her purple eye shadow and thick mascara. But that was only what was expected of Miss. Sato, after all she was the daughter of the rich, esteemed Hiroshi Sato, inventor of the widely used Satomobile, it would be somewhat strange to see a lady of her status lacking beauty and elegance. But truthfully all
Asami wanted to feel something other then responsibility. She just wanted to feel free, to feel the adrenaline rush from doing something crazy and fun. The only time Asami ever got to feel the action creeping through her veins was when She was behind the wheel.
The wind toyed wildly with her hair as the car picked up speed. Faster and faster yet until Asami could finally feel that twinge of excitement. She had no real destination, considering she was confined to the racetrack her daddy had built her in the backyard; Asami found it quite pathetic really, why couldn't this be a real race track? One with other cars, one with a crowd cheering, one where she could actually compete and feel genuine thrill. For now Asami would just have to pretend, just like always, until her father pulled her away from her fantasies. And the more she thought of being on a real racetrack the more she wanted to, for once, be something other then that helpless rich girl everyone expected her to be. It was on that particular morning Asami ran into Avatar Korra.
It was a typical sunny morning; Asami set out on her moped just to get some fresh air. She hadn't exactly planned on running, quite literally, into Mako, her favorite probender. "I'm so sorry, I didn't see you, are you hurt?" she apologized as she removed her helmet letting her silky black hair fall. "How could you not see me I was... I was j..." Mako stammered as he stared into Asami's emerald eyes, his cheeks turning a bright pink. "I am such an idiot." Asami remarked. She helped Mako to his feet. "Hey I recognize you, you're Mako, you play for the fire ferrets!" she recalled excitedly. "I'm so embarrassed." she pressed her hand to her forehead, her cheeks turning pink. Asami didn't give Mako a chance to speak "Here, let me make it up to you. How about I take you to dinner, tonight, at Qualm's Cuisine?" "I don't have any close nice enough for a place like that" Mako rubbed the back of his head. "I'll take care of that. All you have to do is show up." Asami smiled "So it's a date?" "I... I guess." Mako replied. Asami put her helmet back on and started to ride away, she took one more glance at Mako.
Sorry if that was a bit slow guys, considering most of it was word for word summarization of episode four. The next chapter will be more original.
