Levi stood there, bitter on the inside and emotionless on the outside.
It was raining and the drops pounded softly against the window.
His squad was gone and Jaeger nearly got himself killed.
Lost in his thoughts he didn't notice Erwin entering the office.
"Levi?"
"What?"
"I know this must be hard for you but we need to talk."
"Tch. Go on."
Erwin sighed. "Levi you need a new squad."
"So what?"
"I looked through the files of the new cadets. I picked the most promising soldiers of the 105th trainee squad for you. These are their documents."
"Do I really need to do this? Look at all that paperwork."
Erwin sighed again. "Look over the documents and pick the most promising profiles. I expect you to be done with it tomorrow morning."
The blonde left the room and Levi was alone again. He didn´t want to have a new squad but he had to. He brewed himself some tea sat down at his desk. After Levi took a sip from his cup, he looked at the pile of documents, each folder a recruit. This was not going to be fun.
