Love is Like a Lily
Love is like a lily,
So beautiful,
And bright,
It's petals, soft,
It's passion, smooth,
It's fragrance leaves a gentle kiss,
Upon my rosy cheek,
It leaves a tingle,
I have to peek,
To see the one I love,
She is like a daisy,
So elegant,
So sweet,
Her eyes sparkle,
Like a thousand suns,
Her hands, gentle,
As they rest on mine.
She is the daisy,
Our love is the lily,
But when plucked,
Both wilt.
