Remus/Nymphadora
"See you" She said brightly, waving at him as she turned to walk up the street skipping through the pouring rain, dog in hand. A normal girl would squeal at the first drop of rain. Then again, when was Tonks ever normal?
Remus, lost in his thoughts realised that he had to infact respond or she may think him impolite.
"Yeah, see you" He responded watching as she turned back and smiled that brilliant, radiant smile she always did back to him.
Remus watched her until walk up the road until the sheets of rain obscured her from his vision completely.
Shit.
He knew it was wrong. She was just a kid. His best friend's cousin's kid. It wasn't his fault she was so damn brilliant, so…beautiful and just so utterly and completely Tonks.
It wasn't until she was out of sight that he realised that he'd been standing in the pouring rain. He pushed the pieces of his fringe out of his face and knotted his hands into his hair.
He was falling in love with a girl years younger than him and he couldn't help it.
Something about her laugh, her smile, her very strange dress sense and hatred of her real name.
Andromeda never minded when Tonks stayed out during the Summer if she was with Remus. He was supposed to be the responsible one, how could he possibly be responsible when just with a smile Nymphadora Tonks had him head over heels.
Remus turned towards his own home and started walking, scuffing his feet along the ground as he walked.
For once Remus Lupin had no bright ideas. This was one situation he couldn't analyse his way out of.
Ignore it.He decided. It will go away.
That's exactly what he did.
And oh how wrong he was.
