My family was hosting a party with very important guests. My mother had told me to play the piano during the party. That's how everything began.
I soflty begin to play, I can feel everyone's eyes on me. When I'm done I stand up, bow and silently walk to my mother.
"Karen," she starts "there's someone that wants to talk to you after the party."
"Okay thank you for telling me" I smile.
My family owns a large chain of hotels. We often have parties like this one but this is the first time I played in front of the guests. As soon as the party ended, a man wearing sunglasses came to talk to me.
"Miss Asahina...I have heard your performance and I must say you're quite good..."
I easily recognized him, he was Shining Saotome.
"I, Shining Saotome am inviting you to the prestigious Saotome Academy. You can polish that talent of yours there..."
I ran my hands through my black hair. I didn't expect something like this. I nodded without thinking.
"Hahahahahahaaa see you then Miss Asahina!" And he dissapeared in a puff of smoke.
