Victoire could hardly think. An hour ago she'd met up with Teddy Lupin for coffee. It was a friendly coffee – Teddy had wanted to know about the trip she's taken with her siblings to Germany. It wasn't particularly exciting.

They really hadn't been at coffee too long. Both of them had things to do in that day. After they'd departed Victoire had headed home, and taken care of the things she'd needed to. But now she found herself sitting in her living room, trying to read, but unable to concentrate.

It was Teddy. Or rather, it was Teddy's cologne. She could smell it. It was sticking to her clothes. She hadn't noticed it earlier, but now its effect was intoxicating and distracting and lovely. Each time she moved, even a little bit, the scent gave another burst, and every time she smelt it her heart gave a little flutter, and she found it a little hard to breathe – not in a bad way, but in a good way. A very good way.

Victoire barely noticed Louis coming into the room; she was so lost in the scent of Teddy.

"Vic?" he asked, "Are you ok?"

"Oh," she looked up, somewhat surprised, "Oh yeah. I'm fine."

Louis nodded and left the room. Victoire just smiled and closed her eyes, letting the scent of his cologne wrap around her more. They'd have to go for coffee more often.
