I felt that there wasn't a very good (the last time I looked) selection of James the second/Fred the second fics. The way I see it, they're kind of a next generation James/Serius or Fred/George. The Golden Duo
The long awaited first day of Hogwarts was arriving at a more rapid pace then the Potter or Weasley households had anticipated, and both houses were in an uproar. Whether it was Harry and Ron telling an eager James and Fred about their teachers ("and then there's Trelawny , and she's a breeze, just predict fatal accidents!"—Hermione bristled at this: "Don't teach them that!") or George's promise to pay them five galleons each for a if they sent him a toilet seat, the future of the twosome seemed certain. Despite Hermione and Angelina's attempts to steer the two in a more suitable direction (during these lectures of her son and his best mate, Ginny stood of to the side, teetering between disapproval and amusement), Potter and Weasley had agreed on their goal. As the double walked through Hogwarts's gates, their thoughts preoccupied with which seat to nick, and if George would really pay them ten galleons for it, James Sirius Potter and Fred Arthur Weasley turned their heads to their dream: to surpass James Potter and Sirius Black and even the Weasley Twins for Hogwarts's title of prime pranksters. Thus the glorious days of the third generation of the infamous golden duo began.
