Introduction

Some people in this world have gifts. These people slide under the radar of the average human. They belong to the lost chambers- one dark and one light. Both chambers are constantly fighting over something- but for the past Eighteen years it's been over Aurora Muse. The daughter of both chamber's.

Everything had changed on the day of Aurora's seventeenth birthday. Before that indescribable evening, she was just Aurora Muse. Average. Normal. She had natural deep brown ringlets that complimented her rosy pale face and the deep soulful eyes that gave away her soul.

Her father and mother had abandoned her when she was only eight, and now she lived in foster care with all the other unwanted teenagers.

Mrs. Carmichael, her foster mom, was caring and loving in Aurora's imagination. Aurora was in her lst year of schooling at Ocean Shores High in Oregon, had a boyfriend named Bently Novak who happened to be on the football team. Everything normal. Average even. Was all about to change.

Good bye Perfect World

Chapter One: Remembering

In times like these

Roses were red

Violets were once blue

Who ever knew

I was on the way to my seventeenth birthday party, and of course I was running late. Great, I though, I seemed to have forgotten my purse at home. Since I was already late I decided I didn't need it. Plus, I've been at this red light for a while and I couldn't be any later.

I was running my fingers in between the seats of my newish 2005 TJ Sport Jeep, when I found my lip gloss to my surprisement.

"Yes, I've been looking everywhere for this". With a quick smirk in the mirror I started applying it. This happened to be my favourite shade of neutral Pink from MAC.

As I finished with my lip gloss I realised the light still remained red. I believe it was God's punishment for my skipping school today.

One Black shiny BMW pulled up beside me, followed by one of the limo's I've been wanting for graduation. The BMW, which to me looked like a scary drug care, slowly unrolled its back window. To my surprise it was a girl. Maybe my age I thought which calmed my heart rate down- in till I saw her eyes. They were icy brown; she had the most beautiful dark almost black, brown hair that was styled like Tink from Peter Pan.

"Excuse me, but do you know where…." Her voice carried off as she was passed a piece of paper. Her voice was though, to me sounded apologetic. "….Where Ocean Shores rec fall is?" This startled me. That happened to be where I was heading- where my party was. Why would she want to know thought? I've never seen her before…?

" Uhmm…" I said stupidly- and of course my voice broke. "I'm heading their now. If it would help, you could just follow me?" I replied quietly.

The girl in the BMW was giving me a look of recondition. She said something to her driver and I felt eyes on me.
