One lovely day in the fall season, there was a guy named Joshua, who decided to stay inside to play World of Warcraft (WOW) on his computer. The character that Joshua created was a priest named Beowulf. Beowulf was tall with long brown hair and brawny shoulders. Beowulf not only fought off the evil, but also healed the wounded. He was a priest, the healer, and the protector of his guild. The guild of people worshipped and looked up to Beowulf.
One particular day, the brave priest was busy slaying all the monstrous creatures within his invaded world. However, he was not alone. Beowulf had his brave and loyal warriors alongside him. Some of his men had fallen, but Beowulf stayed strong. With all his strength, Beowulf swung his sword and off went the head of the last beast that had been trying to destroy his guild. - Or so Beowulf thought. Beowulf and his men carried off the fallen warriors to lay them peacefully at rest. They went to rejoice the successful day. - Joshua was really getting into the game at this point.
"Rawrrrrroarrrr!" *clash*
All of the kingdom heard this paroxysm of a noise! Beowulf is busy healing the injured within his guild. He stops and turns. There stands a 15-foot life-stealing gremlin wearing his previous victims' blood, treasures, and armor. Beowulf looks with disgust.
"What in the hell are you?!" Beowulf shouts. Beowulf arms himself.
"I AM GRENDEL! The almighty demon beast! Here to destroy you and your guild!" Grendel rawrs!
"Well… I am Beowulf! The most bravest, strongest priest that ever walked this planet. I'll have you slayed in no time," cocked Beowulf.
By this time, they are standing ready to attack each other, Beowulf's men behind him. Within a flash, the battle has begun. Beowulf knows he needs to stay ahead of this atrocious beast. Beowulf has his men falling left and right, swords breaking as they try to pierce Grendel. The brave priest is now realizing that Grendel is the most complicated monster he has ever fought, which is hundreds! Grendel had been terrorizing all the people within the guild. The Prince of Good had to stop the Prince of Evil from continuing his slaying rage before the guild was completely gone. Beowulf was quickly losing most of the brave men who were trying to help save the dying world. This angered him. As he filled with rage, Beowulf caught Grendel off guard and started throwing him around like a doll. He grabbed Grendel's neck and started choking the beast. Beowulf ripped out the monster's tongue with his bare hands! He breaks off finger by finger. Beowulf was starting to scare the men that were still alive within the guild. They had never seen this side of him before! Although frightened, they grabbed the strongest ropes they had and started to tie Grendel up. Once Beowulf knew Grendel was tied up well, he started to drag him to a dungeon called the Scarlet Monastery. Once there, Grendel thinks he can get free. As he struggles, the dungeon starts to shake. Beowulf and his men realize it is going to fall soon! *Shhhhaaaakkkee*
"Get out!" screams the Almighty Priest. "Leave him!"
The dungeon crumbles. Grendel tied up, bleeding, and trapped inside. Beowulf smiles as he knows he has won! He takes his men to rejoice the success. Grendel slowly dies and is never heard from again… But his legend lives on forever!
