(Takes place a day before the end of Debt of Honour)

16:45 pm: Decided better keep a Diary now. It's so that I in no way forget anything that happens from this day on. It's going to change my life from about three hours ago.
President Durling (POTUS for short) had appointed me Vice President after the previous one was found guilty of some crime. I asked him if he was nuts, he replied by telling me he trusted me. I asked POTUS if he was nuts once again.
18:35 pm: Just to make sure, I asked if POTUS was nuts once again. Secret Service dragged me from the Oval. I guess I shouldn't have bothered POTUS while he's in with the National Security Guys.
18:56: Meeting in the Oval ended. Guess who was waiting in the Rose Garden? Secret Service Guys now make sure they're between POTUS and me. PS got my new codename today. CLOWN! Should I take it as an insult?
20:45 pm: I ring up POTUS and ask him if he's a friggin nut again, he hangs up
20:50 pm: I ring up POTUS once again. I ask if he's a friggin nut. Again he hangs up
20:55 pm: I call POTUS this time he hangs up on me straight away without listening to me
21:00 pm: I find out that my telephone has been mysteriously disconnected. I'll have to find out who's responsible in the morning. Better get to sleep now.
21:01 pm: Must be a fault with the phone lines. My telephone is still down.
(Next day)
08:30 am YAY! Got a great office directly adjacent to the office of POTUS
08:33 am: Blinds go up and the door shuts at the POTUS office. I can't watch what he's doing anymore.
09:00 am: More paperwork on my desk. Being kept really busy. I'd been told that POTUS would be officially making me the VP tomorrow on the Capitol and he said if I asked if he was a moron again he would give his Secret Service Agents a shoot to kill on sight order. I laughed hard. I'm going to get a bulletproof tonight.
09:10 am: Am leaving office to pick up my bulletproof vest. Am I paranoid? I should quieten down. I'm sure someone's listening.
Been way to busy to write anything else today. Telephone still disconnected. What's the deal with that?
(Just before going to Capitol Hill the next day)
06:00 am: Today's the day! Today's the day! Ok I'm a little excited about it. Asking wife to pinch me too make sure I'm not dreaming.
06:05 am: Asked wife to stop pinching me.
08:30 am: After having a quick breakfast I was taken to Capitol Hill via limousine. Enjoyed the ride. My son and daughter loved the ride to. Not a perk that I'm going to have a problem with.
08:45 am: POTUS and I shook hands with each other and he went inside the Capitol Building to make the official decoration.
08:57 am: A loud airplane sounded nearby. It sounded low. Special Agents ran into the building to get POTUS.
08:59 am: I was nervous I walked out of the Capitol Building with my kids and wife. There was a loud explosion really loud. I managed to protect my wife and kids.
09:05 am: What the hell? I'm the President Of The United States. I was only supposed to be the temporary Vice President.
