Far away, on an uncharted isle,

The Minnow lay washed in a pile.

The Professor, sat saddened.

The Skipper, who'd had it,

said "Let's fix her through error and trial."

"Wishing and hoping won't do!"

Said the farm girl from Kansas, quite blue.

"Patch it brand new."

"Build a raft of bamboo."

"Then mainland at once We'll pursue!"

No longer wailing and whining,

Mr. Howell moved in closer, smiling.

"If there's one thing that's true,"

"money works better than glue."

"Just ask my wife, my sweet Lovey!"

"Thurston dear, how very cunning,"

"to use real, not Monopoly money!"

"Plug up those holes,"

"with our silver and gold."

"To Honolulu then We'll go running!"

"Wait just a minute you two."

"Ginger has got something too!"

"It's copper and brass,"

"cheap metal scraps,"

"that will get us as far as Timbuktu!"

"That's really great, everyone!"

"Once again We'll set sail in the sun!"

"Just one little problem,"

"I didn't mean to, honest!"

"I lost all your luggage by the ton."

"How is it, Gilligan,"

"you ruin our escape attempts, every one?"

"Sometimes I think,"

"you're glad of our fate."

"Here on this sand laden island!"
