The Prodigy
Chapter 1
Author note: I don not, I repeat, DO NOT own Pokemon. (I wish I did!) But, sadly, I don't.
Note- This is my 1st Fan Fiction I EVER made…so…take it easy…^_^
"Ash Ketchum! Will you hurry up!" Misty yelled to Ash across the Pokemon center.
"I'm coming!" Ash said, "geez, what's the rush!?"
"Are you totally clueless! Hikami's coming to Pallet Town!" Misty spat at him.
"Um…Who's Hikami??" Ash asked dumbly.
"Oh, gosh…She's the famous Pokemon trainer! You know, the one who won practically all the Championships! She's had the record of the fastest time beating Jasmine! She's-She's my…my…HERO!" Misty said excitedly jumping up and down.
"Uh…." Ash wondered, " What's that all about??"
"It's a girl thing…I guess…" Brock said leaning over to Ash.
"LOOK! IT'S HER! IT'S HIKAMI!!" a girl said at the door of the Pokemon center.
"WHAT!! Alright! Comon Ash! Brock! Pikachu!" yelled Misty as she hurried towards the crowd of people by the door.
"pika…"
"Comon Ash! Maybe…she's some pretty girl who's all alone and needs a person in her life!!" Brock said as he rushed up to the crowd.
"ugh…common Pikachu…let's go see…." Ash sighed.
"Pi..Pika." Pikachu sighed rushing up to Ash.
"aww…common…guys! Lemmie go! I need to go into the Pokemon center! Aww…common!" a girl said, she stuck her hand out of the crowd. Then her legs and finally the rest of her body. "Whew…finally…." she said wiping her forehead.
"Where did Hikami go??" someone asked.
"THERE SHE IS!!" someone else yelled pointing to the innocent girl.
"EEK! Heehee…common guys….I'm not that great…" Hikami said.
Ash was standing there the whole time; quiet as ever, watching from a distance.
"Comon….Later…..not now." Hikami said trying to get through the people with autograph booklets, which included Misty. More people came in and started yelling and screaming.
"Oh…so that's Hikami! She's….she's like only 12!!" Brock said crushed, "the way YOU said it, Misty, it sounded as though she was more…older!"
"Ha! Who would've known…you people actually listen sometimes!! Anyway, she's 13, NOT 12." was Misty's reply.
*sigh* "Finally…um…Ms. Joy…could you heal my Pokemon?" Hikami asked trying to catch her breath.
"Well, of course! By the looks of it, you must be the famous prodigy!" Nurse Joy said as she took Hikami's Pokemon.
"No one's ever called me a prodigy before Ms. Joy!!" Hikami said to her.

"Hmm….so, she's Hikami."
Jessie peered down from the roof of the Pokemon center.
"Hee hee…well, Ms. Hikami, you're in for quite a surprise."
