"Those idiots!" A fiery haired man snarled as he fought a Heartless. "Who?" Another, brunette, boy asked. The redhead ignored him briefly, and lit a firecracker. "The apprentices to King Ansem! Everyone knows they experimented with the darkness."He said sourly, then, proceeded to throw the hissing red object at a group of Heartless.

"I think the coast is finally clear! Let's grab your sister, hijack a gummi ship, and get out of here Lea!" The brunette said enthusiastically. "Alright, alright, Leon, let's go!" Lea laughed. They started walked at a brisk pace towards a shabby, old apartment complex. Suddenly a monstrous group of Heartless crept from the shadows.
"Leon…I want you to grab Kairi,and take the old gummi ship in the basement." Lea hissed quietly."NO!" Leon yelled, and the Heartless drew closer."Shut up," Lea hissed," and don't argue with me! When you take Kairi give her this.". He pulled a shell shaped charm out of his pocket (A/n The one Kairi gives Sora at the end of Kingdom Hearts 1). "Fine."He said dejectedly ,and slunk into the apartment complex. The Heartless grew closer and closer.
"Do you want to fight?"Lea shouted. The wind whipped around him, and he swore he heard a whispered 'Yesssss'. "Alright then…come and get me!" He screeched. The Heartless needed no further invitation as they all leapt for him.
After an agonizing two hours of fighting, Lea's arms felt like rubber. 'I can't keep this up for much longer.' Lea thought desperately. He was about to punch another Heartless; when a clawed hand was protruding from his chest. In its long, dark fingers it held a red abject. "Kairi…forgive m-me…little s-sis." He whispered, and he slumped forwards. However, the red heart continued to flutter…

Thus ending the life of Lea, and giving birth to another. Another man with red hair, another man who demanded authority.
