Yuuki yawned as she got back to the apartment from yet another long, tiresome newspaper round, and neatly placed her hooded coat on the back of the door. She gave a relieved sigh, and watched out the window whilst her girlfriend, Yume, rode past the building on her delivery bike – despite her shift having already finished – and waved at the girls through the window, and smiled especially at Yuuki; making the butterflies flutter up in the girl's stomach at the sight of the smile. "Does that girl ever tire out?" Hinata groaned, ruining the romantic moment, as she lay exhaustedly sprawled out on the couch, watching the hyperactive blonde ride around outside. "Maybe someone should get her to come in..." The green haired girl stated, and all eyes turned to Yuuki – who nodded, and walked to the door, smiling dreamily as she watched her lover pedalling past the apartment.
"Yume-Chan?" She called quietly, but despite the almost inaudible tone, Yume responded immediately to her call with a chuckle, and raced back to her girlfriend, surprising her with a loving kiss. A quiet gasp escaped Yuuki's lips as Yume quickly slipped her tongue into her mouth, but pulled away teasingly; leaving Yuuki flustered.
"Not until tonight!" Yume chuckled playfully, sensing the need that her girlfriend felt for her, and Yuuki blushed the same shade as her hair – burgundy purple.
"Y-Yume! D-Don't say that in public…!" She shushed her, feeling slightly embarrassed, but then calmed down when she noticed the two of them were alone; the rest of the girls had moved into a different room. "I… I have something for you…" She admitted, taking Yume's hand and leading her to the sofa.
"Ooh! Let me see!" She exclaimed excitedly, jumping onto the couch next to Yuuki, who chucked.
"It's not that exciting…" She admitted, but reached behind her anyway, pulling out a little box with a purple ribbon around it. Yume's eyes sparkled, and when Yume opened the box to reveal a silver necklace, with an opal stone in the centre, Yume gasped in awe, almost tearing up.
"It's so pretty!" Yume gasped, and her girlfriend blushed, so happy that she liked it. "Happy two year anniversary… Wow… I can't believe we've been dating this long already…!" She giggled, kissing Yuume's cheek, who blushed again.
"Happy anniversary…" Yuuki replied, looking at her hands sheepishly, "I've been saving up my money…"
"Can you put it on me?" Yume asked and Yuuki nodded, sitting behind her, undoing the latch on the necklace and gently putting it on around her neck and fastening it. "Thank you-" She began, but then stopped when she felt Yume's lips press against the back of her neck, sending shivers up her spine. A quiet gasp escaped the girl's lips and now it was Yuuki turn to giggle.
"Not until tonight." She mimicked, but she couldn't keep the teasing tone up like Yume could.
"Oh really..? Damn it…" Yume pouted, "I was really hoping we could-" but before she could finish her sentence, Yuuki had taken her lips between her own and was kissing her lovingly.
