Sapphire Rose' Pokemon Adventure

Sapphire Rose, a boy of sixteen, starts his adventure to complete the pokedex, and more importantly become World Champion. He'll have to battle many strong trainers, and his rival Emerald. It wont be easy, but he's determined.

"I shall dub thee, Stormy!"

The small spiky eared pichu just tilted its head and looked at me.

Professor Rowan smiled saying "I'm not sure he likes it all that much."

"Well, what do you think stormy?"

He thought a moment then started exclaiming "Stormy! Stormy!"

"Haha, apparently it fits him well."

"Guess, I'll be leaving now."

I put stormy on my shoulder and started to head out.

"Wait!"

I turned.

"You'll need this."

Professor Rowan threw me a bag, with some pokeballs, a few potions, and of course a pokedex.

"Thank you professor!"

"Your Welcome. Now get going and fill up that pokedex!"

I ran out of the lab, excited to begin my adventure. When I ran into my rival, Emerald.

"Hey, Sapphire, I heard you got your first pokemon!"

I pointed to my shoulder, and stormy yelled "Stormy!"

"A spiky eared pichu. Thats a nice find. But a pichu isn't a strong pokemon, let's see if my rhyhorn can beat it!"

He threw his pokeball, and appered rhyhorn, a ground rock type. Not a good match up.

"You ready Stormy?"

"Stormy!"

He leaped from my shoulder and electricity sparked from his cheeks.

"Rhyhorn use horn attack!"

Rhyhorn charged at stormy. His horn glowing with energy.

"Stormy dodge and use iron tail!"

Emerald gasped.

Stormy leaped into the air and fell, his tail glowing like an ember,

"Rhyhorn dodge!"

But it was too late, stormy fell to fast for him to dodge and with one single powerful strike, Rhyhorn was down.

"Jeez, Iron Tail, at what, level 5?"

"Yah, he was born for battle."

"Storm, ee, ee Storm!"

I laughed "He's ready to go again."

"Well sorry, stormy, rhyhorn is my only pokemon at the moment. So, you'll just have to wait."

"Stormy." He said somewhat disappointed.

"It'll be alright stormy, let's go, we have other trainers and more pokemon to fight!"

"Stormy!" He seemed to perk up.

"Alright, we're on our way."
"Bye!"
"Rhyhorn!"

And with that we left.

My name is Sapphire Rose, and while my sixteenth birthday is rather late to be getting my first pokemon, I'm ready as ever. And with stormy, my now level 7 spiky eared pichu, nothing will stand in my way of becoming the first Pokemon World Champion!
