This one is stereotypical, but I thought it was more innocent than others as well as more realistic, but that's just me. I hope you enjoy, though.

Disclaimer: I don't own One piece

"Mugiwara-ya," called the tanned Heart Pirate captain.

Luffy immediately turned his attention to Law, just in time to catch what he had thrown.

Looking in his hands, the younger captain was shocked to find a heart, innocently beating in a cube. He looked up at the owner to see the man smirking, pulling his dark sweatshirt high enough to see the cube shaped cut. It interrupted the large heart tattoo across his chest.

"With me?" he asked dumly. Law nodded. "Why else would I give it to you?" he asked with amusement in his tone.

"Why?" The younger man could only stare at the man in front of him. They were sailing to Dressrosa, kingdom of the enemy, shichibukai DonQuixote Doflamingo. It was extremely dangerous dealing with hearts, being able to hold the fate of one person in the palm of your hands.

Law smiled fondly at the other. Luffy was always selfish and boisterous, but the importance of respect was well ingrained in that thick head. When Luffy respected someone, it meant he listened and paid better attention to the other's thoughts

How touching that he respected the Heart captain enough to understand it went against everything Law had ever learned. To give your biggest vulnerability to someone you don't entirely trust or even know. But to Law, it felt right.

"I want you to have it. For some reason, I think you'll treat it better than me," he answered, looking back out to sea. Luffy knew that was the end of the conversation. He was okay with that. Luffy liked holding Law's heart. It was warm and rhythmic. Comforting.

Gently, he stroked it. The heart throbbed fasted, and Luffy looked to the owner of it. He appeared to be calm, peacefully watching the waves with his back to the captain of the vessel. Luffy wondered if Law could feel it.

Smiling happily, he held it close to his own heart. They were similar; beating in sink, speedily, and warm. So warm.

The Sunny captain would keep it safe, such was his duty as being entrusted with its protection, as well as a favor from a respected comrade and friend.

I hope you liked it. Please read the other 6 in the series of Valentines oneshots (although this fandom's aren't Valentine themed).
