Annoyance
"Finkle." Alex Russo growled as her girlfriend of two weeks walked into her bedroom, slamming the door behind her.
Harper had that way of being able to annoy Alex when she was at her wits end. This moment was not an exception. The door shutting, the ruffling of shopping bags, it was all annoying.
"What is your problem?" Harper Finkle asked as she set shopping bags on Alex's bed with a smile.
"I am doing my math homework, for once in my high school career." Alex exclaimed as she erased the answer for problem twenty.
"Alex Russo doing math homework? Color me extremely shocked." Harped joked as she walked up to Alex.
"Oh shut up." Alex said a smile playing on her lips.
Alex looked up at her girlfriend and she smiled again. She loved Harper's bright red hair and rosy cheeks. She looked good after she had been walking the streets of New York City for hours.
Alex's eyes dipped down towards Harper's outfit and Alex groaned loudly. "what?" Harper asked stepping back from Alex and staring down at her outfit.
The outfit was horrendous. It was multi-colored and layered and Alex was pretty sure it included Styrofoam fruit. "What in the hell are you wearing?" Alex asked.
Harper shrugged her shoulders and turned away from Alex. "Why? Do you have a problem with it?" Harper asked playing with the hems of the shirt.
"Um, yeah. It's horrible. We are not going to the movies tonight with you wearing that." Alex told Harper.
Harper smiled and shrugged her shoulders. "Well then. I guess I should...probably...take it off!" Harper finished as she pulled her shirt off and let it fall to the ground.
Alex felt her eyes widen as she stared at a half naked Harper who was now only wearing a lacy Betsy Johnson bra and her pants.
Alex jumped out of her desk chair and stared at her bedroom door. She knew that at any given second someone, like her mother, would walk through the door. And then her life would be over. "What are you doing? Justin is right across the hall and my parents are down in the sub shop!" Alex exclaimed.
Harper laughed and shook her head, her fiery red hair splaying across her shoulders. "Chill out Alex. Justin is in the lair and your parents are way to busy at the sub shop to come bug us up here." Harper explained as she walked towards Alex. "Just lock the door."
Alex smiled. She had to love Harper for her indulgence and her forcefulness. Those were tow qualities of Harper that Alex hardly ever saw. She enjoyed them in those given moments when she did get to see them.
"Harper..." Alex whispered as Harped leaned close to Alex and kissed her on her lips.
Although they had been dating for exactly two weeks and three days, they had hardly kissed or had any physical contact with each other. Alex was trying to get a grip of these new feelings for Harper and Harper was just giving Alex the space that she needed.
But when Harper's lips brushed Alex's, Alex started to wonder why they had waited so long. She loved the warmth that Harper gave to Alex and the spark that Alex felt each time their lips connected with each other.
It was unlike anything that Alex had ever felt before.
"What were you saying?" Harper asked pulling away from Alex with a smile on her lips.
Alex shrugged her shoulders lazily. "I have no idea."
Alex back up towards her bedroom door and quickly flipped the lock, confining them both in a space neither wanted to leave.
Alex walked back to Harper and set her hands on her hips. She kissed Harper gently as they fell back against Alex's bed.
As annoyed as Alex had been three minutes ago, she was now in love above all else.
