movie and now she's all grown up.) I don't own Lara Croft, Tomb
Raider...etc..but this I do. I sent it to a contest as English class
assignment. Now enjoy!

My Winter Evening

The winter stars engulf the sky
Gleaming endlessly as I look up with a sigh.
Out in the open I see the wind move the trees
Oh, how I yearn for the feeling of being free.
The birds have long retire to their nest,
Keeping the young close to their comforting chest.
A thousand life times have passed since the sun settled West.
The Moon dances gracefully in the Heavens
Where my mother looks down on me,
Remembering the last moments I shared with her
"I love you," she said, before embarking on her final journey.
No way can I restrain the passing moment of truth,
I know my mother's legacy would forever live on.
It was this very night when her spirit rose
To paradise, a place of happiness and comfort.
As I look out my window tonight
I bid my mother in paradise good night.
The cold of the night summons me to my rest
For now I will go and lay myself to sleep.
