Tears
She was a friend of mine from back at a village I once lived at while traveling with Zabuza; her hair a brown, like mine, long like mine, too, but she always kept it down. One day we were walking next to one of the many lakes, during fall I think, her hair billowed slightly in the small breeze that had formed, and with the light of a setting sun, I found my self blushing at her angelic beauty. I never realized it before but, in a way, she was my first crush, my first love.
But it all came crashing down, her clan was assassinated, and I came to late to save her. I saw the slight rise and fall of her chest. 'She's still alive!' I thought, "You're going to be ok. Everything will be fine." I say as she opens her chocolate brown eyes slightly to stare at me. "H-haku?" she asks. "Yes, it's me. I'm here, everything will be all right." I never realized when I started to cradle her. Her body already felt cold. "I know." She whispered giving me a sad smile and placing her hand on my cheek. I felt tears start to well in my eyes. She closed her eyes and she breathed no more. I screamed. 'This can't be! This can't be! She…She's not dead! No! NO!'
I can't even remember her name. It's sad, the one I love and she is dead and name-less. I knew that I would die one day, too, and then we could be together, forever this time. I'm dieing right now, in fact. I'm dieing because I wanted to make sure that as long as I'm alive I'd at least be able to save one person. I felt no pain as the Raikiri pierced my chest. In fact I was happy; I was finally going to see the one I love, again. And so, I let the blackness take me and at the end of it there she is, smiling, as always.
