Lovers' Debate
"Oh. Love. Sorry. Now it's a beautiful story." The sarcastic in his voice only angered her further.
Bella glared at the vampire beside her. "Shut the fuck up."
"You'd have to make me." Spike stated, grinning. "Besides you're the one who told me of the your 'one true love' story…"
"Well, it's a hell of lot better then yours, Spike."
"At least it had a better ending," Spike stated, causing Bella to laugh.
"Ha! Better ending? At least my love died to protect me… yours? Doesn't even know you still exist."
"At least mine still exists." Spike growled, causing Bella to growl in anger and pain.
It's been years truthfully since Edward was killed and it's been years since she killed the murderer, but the wound from losing him still hurted as if it happened just yesterday. And truthfully she loved these banters with Spike… he distracted her from the pain so well that it isn't until way after she leaves him that the hurt comes back. Its one of the reasons why she hates leaving Spike… and not just the only reason she loved him.
"Sorry, love…" Spike whispered, his lips inches away from her neck. Bella let out a sigh and breathed in his scent. His scent instantly calmed away her anger, and she moved to face him.
"I'm sorry too…" Bella whispered back, moving just enough so that he was wrapped in her arms.
His eyebrow lifted in suggestion as he moved her naked body even closer against his. "I have an idea how we can make it up to one another."
Bella let out chuckle at that, "Oh really?"
"Yes… and I'm completely certain that it'll work too."
"Then I guess we'll have to try it, now don't we?" Bella stated, unable to hide her amused grin.
