Nopony understands me
But I understand their misconception.
What they don't know is my life
Was full or heartache and rejection.
I was young, maybe seven,
And I'd witnessed my first marriage.
My step-dad and mom were delighted
'Til the wheels broke on their carriage.
My heart was broken when I
Saw the green line buzz flat.
I'd only been slightly injured,
Yet pain still stings from seeing that.
I ran from that city,
as far as I could go.
Until I met the stallion who changed my life
and taught me all I know.
He brought me to a circus
where I started to perform.
On stage I forgot all sorrow
And felt as a new pony.
Reborn.
He taught me all my magic
every technique and spell.
He didn't stop training me
until I knew my magic well.
Then came the day
another tragic loss arose.
And to make it worse,
the accident happened in the middle of a show.
He'd fallen thirty feet,
trying to adjust problems with the lighting.
The audience gasped,
Finding his great fall exciting.
He was found dead with a
pole through his head.
After his death,
the circus had closed.
And for me alone,
a new problem arose.
I was solitary on
A large, scary earth.
With nothing but a few bits,
I realized how little I was worth.
I tried to perform again,
to get over my weeping,
but as a lone performer,
I kept the audience sleeping.
I made very little money,
and wondered what I was even for.
I sold my kidney, body, possessions, and more.
When all had seemed hopeless,
I tried acting and lying.
This made the sales and my reputation go flying.
I was popular and fantastic
and I felt amazing.
But then she came along and
my anger started blazing.
Twilight Sparkle
Who proved me as a fraud,
cost me my dignity, respect,
and above all my job.
If only she realized,
If only she knew.
I had all my reasons
and my anger would brew.
She'd better watch out,
This won't happen again!
For the Great and Powerful Trixie
will have her revenge!
