Jack awoke with a start. Sweat was dripping off his face, and he was breathing heavily. He glanced at the alarm clock which read six am. His nightmare had been terrible. He had dreamed he had been in the creature world, a terrible place where the creatures ruled. He sat up, and slowly got out of bed. His dueling deck was lying on the bedside table. He picked it up, and stared at the top card. Crystal Paladin, the first card he had ever obtained. "Today we must win.", a voice said in his mind. Jack looked up and searched the room. No one was there. He looked back down at the Crystal Paladin. "Yes, it's me that you are hearing." Jack had a puzzled expression on his face. He brushed his shoulder lenght blond hair out of his face, and tried to talk in his mind. "Ccan you hear me?" "Yes, I can." "How are we talking? Your just a card, how can you talk? Jack, closed his eyes, and Crystal Paladin was pictured in his mind, like he was right there in front of him. 'No, you are not going crazy." Crystal Paladin seemed to have read his mind.

"I know what you are thinking, as we are connected. Let me explain. Have you ever heard of Kaijudo? Isnt it dueling where you bring the creatures into my world? Right. You possess a strong amount of Kaijudo, that is wy we are able to speak. Is that why I keep dreaming about the creature world? Yes, exactly why, however, it's not a dream. You are seeing the very creature world I stand in now when you sleep. You see what I see. Ah, but why? That is simple. I am your favorite card right? Paladin looked at him expectantly. Yes. That is why, isnt it? Yes, our connection can never be broken. Now, I must go. Jack could feel Crystal Paladin leave his mind. He couldn't believe what he had just learned. He knew one thing though. He had to prepare for today's tounrnament.

8 HOURS LATER...

"Jack, Michael, start your duel." The tounrament organizer said. It was the finals of a large tounrament, where the winner would get a paid trip to Japan for the World Championship. Jack sat down, and Michael across from him. Both duelists had serious look on their face, and would both play as hard as they could. They shuffled their decks, and layed out their shields. A large crowd had formed around them, hoping for some good dueling action. "Michael, you start.", the organizer yelled out over the crowd. "I charge fire mana, and summon Deadly Fighter Braid Claw." He laid the fire car on the field. He nodded at Jack. Jack drew, and smiled confidently. I charge water mana, and summon Aqua Guard." Suddenly, something happened to both players. They turned into a Kaijudo duel. They both blanked out and had the duel in their minds now. A large, blue shaped monster appeared and so did the red creature.

Michael drew, charged water mana and summoned Aqua Vehicle. A large blue shape appeared. "Errrr, Deadly Fighter, attack" Jack smiled, knowing he defeated the smaller creature. "Block with Aqua Guard." The two creatures battled and Aqua Guard smashed the Fighter. Michael sadly ended. Jack drew, charged dark mana, and also ended his turn. Jack played fire mana and summoned Pyrofighter Magnus, a speed attacker. A reptiallian like creature appeared, and rushed at Jack's shields. "Pyrofighter, ike!" The creature ran like lightning, and struck a shield. The shield shattered like glass, but it was a shield trigger. "Shield Trigger, Terror Pit, consume his Pyrofighter!" A large, black hole appeared and sucked his speed attacker up. Michael looked disappointed.

Michael charged fire mana and summoned an Immortal Baron Vorg, and a Mini Titan Gett. Jack smiled. He would win this duel. Crystal Paladin was coming. Jack drew his card and charged mana. "I summon Bloody Squito and Propeller Mutant." The two creatures appeared, and Michael started his turn.
