Dark Masquerade

This is basically a poem showing Koichi's story, his emotions basically, from when he finds out about his twin brother, and then is consumed by his own darkness. Please R&R. This is my first one so don't be mean.

Through my loss I found hope, always searching for the one I love. I see him, dare I stray near? He took my happiness away, emotional pain to the one I hold dear. Traveled to a place where I was consumed by darkness. I see you, I will show you my pain. The darkness I carry is heavy in my heart, I hold on to it for survival; I feed on it for strength.

Can you not notice me? I am like you, for I am you. I see you, do you feel this pain? Live with it for eternity as I fulfill her wish. You fight me, yet I am but a puppet, used by hatred's game. Should I destroy you to heal this emotional scar?

I found what I wanted, but can you? Can you save me? I bear the spirit of darkness, yet you bear the spirit of light. Shall we both be consumed by each other? Will you save me? Don't you know me? I stand in front of you yet I am not here. I am human yet I am not whole. Can you hear the cry of my heart?

You mourn for what you do not know. Will I bring her to you? Help me live to remember, for I have forgotten all I know. I am here, but lost to the human world. I will save you, but can you heal this darkness I own?
