Chapter 1

Seamus's POV

I sigh as I sit up in bed, cracking my back as I stretch. I groan and slip into my clothes. Today I'm supposed to look for a job, but what's the use? Everyone's scared of me because I have an almost permanent scowl on my face. It's not that I'm always mad, it's just how my face looks, but people take it the wrong way and are scared of me.

They judge me, before they know me. I make my way down the street to Granny's and the bell chimes as I enter. I look around and spot my two best friends, Jack and Perry. "Shay! Over here!" Jack shots and I shake my head before walking over and sitting across from them in the booth. "Good morning Shay. Any luck job hunting?" Perry asks with his Spanish ascent. I open my mouth to say something, but the bells chime as the door opens and I turn to see Faith Royal, walking to sit with her boyfriend Flynn.

He's a jackass who doesn't deserve her. I don't realize I'm muttering until Perry shakes me out of it. "Shay! You're muttering to yourself again!" He says and I snap out of it, turning back to them. "Oh. Sorry," I murmur and Jack shakes his head. "Man, I don't see why you don't just go over there and talk to her. I mean, you're obviously way better than Flynn, who I heard from Delilah that he was just using her, you know, because she has a lot of money, and is on good terms with Madame Mayor," Donkey says and I clench my fists. "Even if that was true, it wouldn't matter. Faith wouldn't like some ugly delinquent like me," I spit out and Perry and Jack look at me sympathetically.

I look up as Ruby comes out in her short shorts and revealing tops, asking us for our orders. "Hmm, can I have just some plain waffles with whip cream and a hot chocolate?" Jack asks and Perry and I roll our eyes. Jack's favorite food is waffles and he insists that they are the best food in the world. "Can I just have a glass of milk? I'm not very hungry," Perry asks and Rudy nods, before turning to me.

"How 'bout you Shay?" She asks and I look down. "Can I just get two eggs, sunny side up, some hash browns and a cup of coffee?" I ask and she writes it down in her little book. "Comin' right up guys," She says and she smiles at me. Rudy is one of the few people that doesn't judge me by my look. I think it's because we're both unfairly judged and she knows hoe it feels, so she got to know the real me. Granny likes me too, as well as Dr. Hopper and Mary Margret.

I've only spoken to Henry Mills, the son of the Mayor a few times, but he likes me too. I'm glad that I'm not completely alone.

Shrek's POV

I sigh as I get up and walk into my kitchen in my small hut that's located in my sweet swamp. I look around and sit down eating my breakfast. Suddenly, a strange feeling washes over me and I set my fork down and look around. I'm all alone.

Ok so this is my new story that I thought of last night. No really mentions Shrek in Once Upon A Time and I thought that he should be in it. In my story, ogres are more like him, instead of Once Upon A Time's version. Also, there will be some things from the musical, as well as the movie so if there's something that you don't understand, then that's why. Until next time! :D XD
