What if Ciel wasn't the only child that was the last to be born in the Phantomhive Manor. What if, He had a twin sister? I wonder what she would look like? Would she have eyes like her mother or father? What would she be like?
It was about 13 years ago, when the tragedy happened, Ciel's parents had taken his youngest sister out of the house, the day they were born. "Dear, what are we going to do?" "We have to find an orphanage, or something. No one can know that she is still alive." Rachel started to cry, staring into her little girls eyes, "I don't want to give her up! Why can't we just hide her in the mansion somewhere?" "They would know, and they would harm both of them, thats why.." Her heart started to break for what she is doing. She placed her daughter on a footstep on some house, leaving a note, and knocking on the door before leaving her there.
When the door open, an old lady, about 50 years of age was at the door. "What is this.." She mumbled while smoking to what had looked like a pipe. She saw a little child, wrapped up in a blanket with a small letter with it. She picked up the small child, returning inside. There was a nice fire inside. She sat down on a rocking chair, and took the letter off the child before starting to read it.
Please, this is the only way to keep her safe. I know that we don't know you that well but please, just keep her safe from harm and don't let anyone know her name. I want her to have a nice home. Her name is Cecilia Phantomhive, do not tell her of her last name. It will only give her grave harm and regret.
The old lady, shredded the paper before placing it in the fire. She walked over the kitchen, getting some milk from the where she kept it then returned to the sleeping Cecilia. She looked so peaceful then. "I do hope you have a nice time living with me, even though I may not have enough time to." She said, getting a nipple and placing it on the bottle. She gave her the bottle while she slept. Cecilia slowly opened her eyes to see her. She spit out the bottle and started to cry. The old lady tried to calm her down, but she couldn't. It was like she knew, that her family abandoned her.
6 years later, Cecilia had gotten into a lot of trouble. The old lady had enough with her. For the past year, she had been abusing her for the things she had done wrong. Cecilia had enough with the abuse. "She hits me all the time." She said to her friends from the streets. "I'm thinking of joining the circus or something!" "I don't think that s a very good idea if you ask me." "Why not! I have enough energy, I can be as jumpy as a kangaroo!" She started to laugh at herself while she jumped around. "I would be great circus person!" "Thats not what he meant. He means that the circus is very cruel." She started to laugh. "Youve never been to the circus so meh!" She stuck out her tongue, before she ran off going inside her home.
Cecilia started to pack her things, so that she could run away. After she was all done with her packing, the old lady had just walked in, drunk. She quickly hid her bag under her bed and walked into the small living room. "Hello Grandmother." She quietly said. The lady just looked at her, in disgust. "What do you want.." She hiccuped. "No-nothing just wanted to say hello to you.." Before she knew anything, she was slapped and fallen to the ground. "Go to your room." Her words slurred as she spoken. Cecilia nodded and walked into her room. She quickly got her bag and rushed out her room. "Goodbye Grandma!" She said. It was too late, she grabbed her arm, before she could rush out the door." And where do you think you're going?" She asked before shoving her against a wall. "We-well.." Cecilia couldn't think of anything to say. Her instincts kicked in and she bit her. Not a small child bit me, but drew blood bit me. The old lady let go of her to tend to her wound. "Why you littleā¦!" Cecilia gulped and ran out the door. "I'm sorry!" She screamed. The lady rushed out the door and screamed, "You'll be rotting meat out there!" She started to laugh, as blood started to rush down her arm.
Cecilia couldn't believe it! She ran away from the woman who was tormenting her from most of her life. She was a free child at last. She ran around town laughing and giggling. "Rotting meat! Hmmph! With a bite like that, you'll be the rotting meat soon!" She smiled before bumping into a man. "Oh, I'm sorry." She said staring at him. She turned around and grinned at her, she didn't like this at all. "Well~, what do we have here!" She kneeled down to her height. "What are you doing missy?" He asked. She backed away a little bit. "I-i'm running away to join the circus!" She exclaimed. She stood up and laugh. "Really now? Well, just you luck!" He picked up and started to walk to his cart. "Let me go!" She screamed, squirming around. "Hey boys! Looks like we got someone that wants to join a circus! You think that the ring master will let her?" A few men also got out of the cart, and examined her. Some laughed and some grinned even worse than the other man did. "I think she'll be just fine." One of the men said. He looked like he was around the age of 20, but that beard of his said 40.."
Cecilia continued to squirm around in his arm. "Go get me rope!" He said. The men nodded, and walked to the cart getting some rope. "Why are you getting rope! I-i'll be a good girl and won't move!" Cecilia started to cry. "We know you won't move, but just to make sure you won't." He laughed at his own words. She had never been this scared in her life. "Grandma!~" She screamed. "Grandma i'm sorry for misbehaving! Please come get me!" Tears fell from her cheeks she started to become tied up. "Shut up!" One said, before smacking her in the face, making her fall to the ground and pass out. "Look what you've done now!" One of the men said before punching him in the face." Cecilia's eyes slowly closed, as the last thing she saw was one of the men, getting a gun pointed to his head. Last thing she heard, was the gunshot.
When she had woken up, her clothes were stripped off her, and a chain was over her right ankle. "Wh-what?" She said to herself, trying to get it off. She pupils dilated, her nose tried to quiver up. She smelt something that smelled like death. She covered her nose, hoping the smell would go away. "What is that horrific smell.." Tears started to come from her burning eyes. "The smell, is my sister's rotting corpse beside you." Cecilia glanced at what seemed to be a boy, wearing a large jacket, and bandages over him. "What do you mean.." She turned around, to see a black thing beside her. Flies were everywhere on it. The only thing clear was a small white thing, it looked like an eye. Cecilia's eyes became fear. She tried to get away, but the chain made it hard for her to get away from it. "Why is she in here!" She tried to not vomit on what she saw. "She misbehaved and made her do an act. Which was to fight the two lions that we have. They really don't feed them, so they became to rage." He started to cry and laugh at the same time. "Its mostly my fault! I was the one who misbehaved so they killed her to torture me!" He laughed hysterically, tears rushing down his face. "It was my little sister too!"
Cecilia started to shake in fear and anger. "Wh-what kind of place is this?! To do this to a mere child!" Oliver stopped laughing and crying. "We're in the Circus." Cecilia eyes widen, her eyes beamed at him. "This isn't one, I've been to one when I was little! They don't do th-" "Believe me.. This is a circus.." The boy stood up, holding what looked like a wire. "My name is Oliver, what is yours?" He said with is weeping voice. He unlocked the chain that was on her ankle, and gave her his jacket. "Cecilia.." She said, quickly looking around and placing her arms in the sleeves of the jacket. She looked at this poor, delusional boy. She felt ashamed for him. It took her a few minutes to say something. "Oliver," He stared at her. "Look, i'm so-" "Well, I see that you two have already gotten comfortable with each other." They both looked up to see a man in a matching purple jacket and hat, glaring at the two behind the bars. "I am the Ring Master here, pleasure to meet you." He grinned then looked at the boy. "Look here Oliver, I don't want you to misbehaving again. If you do, I do think my babies are still hungry, after all they didn't eat poor Henrietta." He laughed, while Oliver just coward in fear. "You're heartless!" Cecilia screamed. The Ring Master glared at her. He kneeled down to her height, like the last guy she saw. "I heard you were a little trouble with my men, I do hope that this doesnt happen again. My precious babies are really hungry and I am sure they would love a blue eyed little brat for dinner."
Cecilia backed away from the cage, she didn't want to be kitty food. The ring master laughed at her and walked away. "I do hope you are good outside than you are in that cage." Cecilia glared at him the crawled over to Oliver. He covered his face with his knees. She tapped his knee cap, making him shiver. He was terrified of this place. "Don't worry Oliver," She said quietly, before hugging him trying to calm him down. "I'll be your little sister.." Oliver looked up, to see her. He started to cry even more. He was freezing cold where they were. Few of his droplets of tears fell onto her cheek. They were cold to the touch. She steadily hugged him for that night. She started to think that running away wasn't a good idea at all..
