Nico was running after his sister, Bianca, trying to catch up to her but she was very fast. Her laughter was echoing all over the dark room. Dark room? Wait a minute. Just a second ago they were in a forest. Nico started looking around himself but nothing in this place was familiar. The ground under his feet suddenly started crumbling and a big hole opened up and swallowed him. He was falling and falling and his sister's screams were filling his ears. Just when he was about to hit the floor he woke up.
"Nico? What's wrong?" Percy was laying half naked next to him and his eyes were heavy with sleep. Nico just now realized that he had been screaming and it had woken Percy up. He sat up and put his hands on his face. He couldn't keep in his tears anymore so he started sobbing. Percy was next to him in a second and pulled him into a tight hug. Nico stood there, crying on his boyfriends chest for over 5 minutes.
"Was it a nightmare, Nico?" Percy moved Nico back and looked him in the eyes. Nico wanted to tell him everything but he couldn't. It was as if he had lost his ability to talk. "Was it Bianca?" Nico started crying again and Percy started smoothing his hair back. He heard that Percy was talking and he was probably trying to calm him but he couldn't make out the words.
He hadn't had a nightmare of Bianca for over four months now and here he was again, sobbing because of his long dead sister. "I was falling... Bianca... she... she was screaming. It was terrible, Percy!" Percy hugged him tightly and pulled him down on the bed. They lay there until Nico calmed down and stopped crying.
"I... I'm sorry."
"You don't need to apologize. You didn't do anything wrong." Nico looked Percy in the eyes and saw his concern for him. He hated showing his weaknesses in front of people. Even Percy.
"Hey! Looks like I don't need to shower this morning!" Percy started laughing while looking at his chest which was all wet because of Nico's tears. Nico couldn't help but join him and soon he was laughing so hard that his throat hurt. Percy was always there to help and he always made him laugh and feel happy. That was why Nico loved him so much.
