Distress Signal
It was nearly three years since I destroyed SR388 and the X parasite. It was quiet, until one day. I received a distress signal from Talon IV. I started to prepare to enter the Talon IV atmosphere. Something seemed different. It was almost as if the planet had changed. The surface looked different. Suddenly I felt something hit the ship. My back right engine went out. I braced myself for a crash landing.
I hit the surface leaving a gigantic skid mark behind me. I had no idea what I could've hit to make me have such a crash. When I emerged from my ship I could only see smoke and my broken down ship. It looked like I was going to be stranded for awhile. When the dust cleared I could see that I was right. The planet had changed, quite a bit too. It was almost like I was on SR388 again.
I began to look around. I could only recognize where I was as the Talon Overworld. No trace of life was in site. I opened my map memory, but I could not find a map for Talon IV. I had forgotten that I still had my old power suit when I got the map data for this planet. I'll have to go through by memory. So, I headed towards what I remembered being the route to the Chozo Ruins. When I was walking I felt as though I was being watched, yet there was still no sign of life around me.
I made it to the ruins. They weren't ruins at all. Everything was like new again. No crumbling walls, no fallen ceiling. Suddenly I heard something behind me. I quickly turned around but nothing was there. Then I heard it again, right behind me. I charged me arm canon.
