One day I was walking down the street and a man with a red beard called me into a dark and creepy alley. He reached into his coat and pulled out a golden chain. On the end of it I saw a golden locket I opened it up and I saw a four-leaf clover inside. "Thank you," I said and looked up and he was gone.
I look back at the four-leaf clover and I saw a picture of my parents in the back, but there was something different about them. They had x's over their eyes. I turn back but the gate closed before I get out. Then out of nowhere it stated to rain. I ran into the forest hoping for safety. What I did not know was that after this day my life would change.
After the rain stopped I walked farther into the forest and I see a bright, beautiful, red gem. I then hear something. A rustle in the trees and a bird comes out, and he said, "It is time for you to learn."
"What?" I asked.
"It is time for you to learn about your powers."
"What powers?" I asked and then I suddenly transformed into a bird just like the bird that was speaking.
"That power," he said. "Your parents have hidden them from you but they our yours now. You must go with me. "
"But, but."
"No buts about it we must go now."
" Where will we go?" I asked the bird.
"To the Under Land of Dargon, and by the whey you can call me Hammy. I am Dargon's twin brother. He has created a world of utter horrid and hatred."
"What do we have to do?" I asked Hammy looking at his eyes inquisitively. "And why do look so much like the guy that gave me this," while showing him the four-leaf clover.
"It was me who gave you this. We must transform back now so we can leave. Dargon is coming. You can ask more questions later"
The two transformed back, grabbed the gem and left the area without a trace. They found a river and swam through it without speaking much because they could both sense something was following them.
