Mother's Day
James POV:
Today was Mother's day. More importantly today was first Mother's with the kids. While Zodical was sleeping I headed out to the store to buy her some roses, cards and treats. When I came back I woke up the kids so we can make breakfast in bed.
"Javier, Sam wake up" I told the kids as I hushly shook them awake. "Yeah daddy?" said Sam tiredly. "It's Mother's Day so we gotta make mommy breakfast" I whispered. "Okay daddy" said Javier. "Good now get up and brush your teeth so we can make breakfast" I told them.
I was gonna make Zod some pancakes, eggs and bacon. I had the kids help me mix the pancake batter while I cracked the eggs and fried the bacon.
"Am I doing it right daddy?" asked Sam as she mixed the batter. "You're doing great sweetheart" I replied. "Javier, over on the couch is a bag with some things could you bring it over?" I asked. "Sure daddy" replied Javier.
"Here daddy" said Javier as he brought the bag over. "Now as daddy starts cooking the pancakes I want you two to take the card that are on the bag and write something for mommy, can you both do that?" I asked. The kids nodded and took the cards from the bag. "Remember keep it down until we go wake up mommy" I told them.
As I finished with preparing breakfast the kids were ready with the cards. "Javier, Sam get the roses and candy from the bag those are for mommy" I told them.
"Alright now quietly open the door" I told the kids as the did as they were told.
"Honey...wake up" I said.
"MOMMY MOMMY WAKE UP!" shouted the kids.
Zod then woke up and saw the kids with the goodies I bought for her.
"Awww is this all for me?" asked Zodical.
"Yeah mommy, daddy got this all for you and we made you breakfast" Javier. "Daddy told us to write you something" said Sam as she and Javier gave her the cards.
"Aww come here you too" said Zodical and she gave the kids a hug and a kiss. "We love you mommy" said the kids. "I love you both too" replied Zod. "Why don't you kids go watch some cartoons while he talks with mommy" I told the kids.
As the kids went to the living room Zod gave me a skeptical look. "You're something else man really REALLY something else" said Zod and she ate a pancake.
"What'd you mean?" I asked. "You and the kids organizing all this for me it's cute" Zod replied. Well it's all for my amazing wife and mother to our kids" I replied. Zod then kissed me and said, "I love you so much James and thank you".
"How 'bout I spend the day with the kids while you have time for yourself" I suggested. "Okay" replied Zod as she ate her breakfast in bed.
