To the kids and teachers that were shot at Newton School shooting, and to my grandmas and grandfather, I will miss you very dearly.
Set in Robin's P.O.V.
It started as a normal school day for the kids and teachers.
We where there.
Moon said that she had a vision that something was going to go wrong.
And she was right.
Something went wrong.
A shooter went inside the building.
He was about to shoot me, but Moon blocked it, but she was hit.
I caught her before she had hit the ground.
Then I was pulled into another vision.
It was at Haley's circus.
I saw Luna, me and Jadedanamade and we were in Luna's 'tent'.
"That's us. When we were younger. Jadedanamade's Jinx's now."
I turned around and I saw her. "Y-you mean you were-"
"Yes."
"Luna, I-I'm sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you at-"
"Don't worry. All is forgiven."
I woke up at the hospital.
"Dude, are you okay?" Beast boy asked.
"Yeah. Where's Moon?" I exclaimed.
"She's in a coma." Punk Rocket said, staring in Moon's room, where workers were looking at her.
"They say she only has until January 26 left to live." Johnny said.
"Her next birthday." I said.
They looked at me strange.
"Before we came the Titans, I was part of the flying Greyson. I was friends with Jadednanamade and a girl named Luna. We became best friends. We each told when we were born. Her birthday's January 26(1). After the incident, I never saw her again. And when we met again as Robin and Moon, I didn't know it was her. Until just now." I explained. Tears were falling down my cheeks.
"Moon was Luna?" See-more said, surprised. I nodded.
I was able to leave hospital the next day. Except for a few bank robberies, nothing big happened. And when the day came, the team and I visited the hospital, me in my circus costume, but I left my sunglasses at the tower.
"Hey Luna." I said. "Hey Richy." Moon said, using one of my nicknames. "I-I'm gonna miss you, Luna." I said. "Heh, yeah. I am too, Ricky." Moon said. "It's time." The doctor said. "Goodbye, Luna." I said. "Goodbye, Richard. For the last time." Moon said. "Yeah, for the last time." I replied. After that, I left. Few hours later, the doctor came. "She's dead." The doctor said. "You can see her now." She replied.
And that was the last time I saw her alive. We gave her a proper burial. I didn't come out of my room for four months. On the first day of the fifth month, she came to me. "Luna?" I exclaimed. "Yes, it is me, Ricky." She said. "I have something to tell you." "What is it?" I asked. "Do not grieve. For it may be millions of months before we are reunited again. But I will always will be by your side." Moon said. The next day I went out of my room. Feeling better. But for that day on, every day it was her birthday, I would visit her grave. But I will never forget her.
The end
(1) That's my real birthday, so if that day ever comes around, you can always wish me a happy b-day!
