Annabeth: yep so don't you people get the wrong idea or I'll get seaweed brain on you
Percy: yeah!
Anyway on with the story sorry if it's hard to read…this is my first fanfic
(3rd person pov)
"Perseus Jackson! Get back here!" Yelled a sopping wet Annabeth
Percy took that as his sign to run faster
"You'll never catch me" Percy yelled over his shoulder
"You just wait seaweed brain I'm coming for you" Annabeth responded
All of a sudden Percy stops getting an idea while Annabeth runs into him
After a lot of heavy breathing Annabeth finally said, " Told you I would get you seaweed brain, now explain WHY YOU THOUGHT IT WAS A GOOD IDEA TO DUMP ME IN THE LAKE!" Yelling the last part
All of a sudden Percy scooped Annabeth up and ran back to the lake and jumped in
Annabeth held her breath for a minute forgetting she was with a son of Poseidon.
When she opens her eyes she saw Percy on his knee with a ring and a box
" Annabeth I know I can be difficult sometimes and that dumping you in the lake was stupid (which you should expect) but I just wanted to ask you, will you make me the happiest man on the earth and marry me"
By the end of the speech Annabeth was crying with her hands over her mouth
She jumped on him and gave him a kiss. When they finally pulled apart she said " did you really think I would say no seaweed brain, after all we'be been through"
This time it was Percy that pulled Annabeth into the kiss. When they pulled away he took out the ring and slipped it on her ring finger.
"We should probably go back up, I'm sure everyone is wondering where we are" said Annabeth
"Ok" agreed Percy and with one more kiss they swam back up
When they resurfaced practically the whole camp was crowded around the lake
"Um guys we have good and bad news" said Percy "the bad news is that we arnt dating" said Annabeth catching on. The whole Aphrodite cabin started sobbing at that. Then a camper said "what's the good news?" Percy and Annabeth looked at each other before saying, were engaged!" Then everyone started crowded around around asking questions ( front was the whole Aphrodite cabin) .
While Annabeth was showing piper the ring she noticed it had something engraved in it
It said "seaweed brain and wisegirl forever" when she saw that she giggled
"Why on earth would YOU giggle" asked piper then she saw the engravment she said "awwww"
Then all of a sudden piper realized that she had a wedding to plan and whisked Percy and Annabeth away to the Aphrodite cabin
