I've updated this a bit. I just didn't like how short it was. Hope it's still good! :)
Warnings: Death and a little OOC.
Troy Bolton used to look at Gabriella as if nothing was wrong. He felt like she was supposed to be standing across the room where Troy could see her. Why shouldn't she be? Then he dreamt of his dreadful memory. Everything came back to him in one devastating blink of an eye. Those short few years ago when he lost her escaped him until the very night he finds himself waking up on his cold, sweaty pillow.
He continues to see her, though. What harm could this cause? He asks himself even though he knows the answer.
It started as all relationshipe do. Harmless. Now there are rules. Troy can no longer be around anyone close to him, because he knows they will think he's psychotic. Think he's absolutely nuts.
Gabriella has become so much more jealous since the accident. It's now impossible for Troy to be around other woman without upsetting her. But why should it matter? I have her now? Troy tells himself. She's the only woman I need.
And she is mine now, Troy whispers as Gabriella leaves for yet another night. It's all worth it, he breathes, she's all worth it. The isolation, the nightmares, the inner torture⦠And he prays that she will come back the next day. And he somehow knows that they will be together until the end. If there is an end.
A/N: I hope you enjoy and review. I know, it's a lot like Charlie St. Cloud but I wanted to point out that this goes with a video (which you should go watch if you haven't seen it! The link to my YouTube channel is on my profile.) and Charlie St. Cloud was one of the few clips I was able to use.
