I've had this idea in my head for a while and I had to get this short preview out to see if you guys thought it was pretty good like I did. NOTE: This chapter is a look into the future lol, the next chapter will have Naruto's birth etc. Enjoy!

Prelude:

Naruto lied there on his bed, silently staring at the ceiling or rather, the picture that was posted to the ceiling. The fox was in his mind, listening, wondering what it's container would say this time around.

All of a sudden he spoke. "How did I get here?" he asked. "Through all the pain and suffering I've endured in my life I've never once thought about ending it, nor have I had the chance to actually do it considering the training I've been through 24/7. I know you were known for decimating a whole army on your own, did it make you feel like a monster?".

He sighed as he realized this was pointless once again. He then sat up on his bed and ran his hands through his hair as he was preparing to get ready. He took an ice cold shower, put on his all black anbu gear and his trademark all white fox mask and went to his armory.

He walked all the way to the back, ignoring the multitude of death causing items until he got to a big black box made out of some kind of metal. He bit his finger and smeared some blood all over the lid and was satisfied when it gave a click signaling it was unlocked. Opening the box he found 2 all black twin katanas with a red edge that gave off an aura of death. Strapping those to his back he also grabbed the other item, which was a kunai pouch filled with black tri-pronged kunai with red sealing tags on them. He strapped the pouch to his thigh.

Leaving the armory he headed into his living room to find a beautiful blonde woman sitting on the couch sipping tea with a calm expression on her face, even though he knew better than anyone that expression meant somebody was going to die. "So are you really going to do this by yourself Namikaze?" she questioned, sounding hurt.

Naruto almost made a split decision to let her join him then shook that idea off as quickly as it had came. "You and I both know I would never let you get hurt" he said softly. She sighed angrily, but end the end relented as she walked towards him, lifted his mask and gave him a smoldering kiss that seemed to say 'you better come back alive'. Naruto whispered it'll be alright into her ear and disappeared in a black flash.

He landed on the gates of Kohonagakure no Sato, preparing to enact his revenge. 'Well Kurama, seems like you can have fun a little later on' Naruto thought through their mind link. Kurama grinned and responded 'LET'S GIVE EM HELL KIT!'. Naruto chuckled, 'You got it buddy, we've got ourselves a village to destroy'. He then disappeared in another black flash, hell bent on giving a certain traitor of Kohona's hell.

This isn't the weak, loud mouthed, orange wearing brat from some other universe. This is Naruto Namikaze: The Avenger.
