"Paralyzed by my envy of the night, I am lost without you here and outside looks like rain."
Jon stormed out of the arena in a hurry, too angry to even process the fact that it was pouring rain. As he made his way down the seemingly dead city street, thoughts of what had happened back at RAW flooded his mind.
"Dean, get up!" Seth yelled to his partner, whom was currently lying face down in the middle of the ring. "Get up." He yelled again, but it was as if Dean couldn't hear him. There the brunette was, taking a few seconds too long to recover from the RKO he had just received. Orton realized this and went for the pin as he was supposed to.
1... 2... 3.
"Oh no." was the only thought to go through Ambrose's head as his team mates picked him up and dragged him through the crowd, and up the stairs. The next thing he knew, him, along with Rollins and Reigns were sat in Stephanie McMahon's office.
"What the hell was that out there, Jon?!" She spat, furious. "You were meant to get up and perform your finisher on Orton! Jon, this is the third time you've slipped up in a match. We can't have this continue." Stephanie stood from her seat and walked so she was directly in front of Jon's chair. "If this happens again..." She started, "If this happens again, we're going to have to let you go, Jon. We can't keep going if you're going to be screwing up all the time. I'm sorry."
"It won't happen again." Colby answered for Jon. Stephanie nodded and walked to the door, opening it and signaling for them to leave. Jon was the first to get up and walk straight out, not caring if his friends were right behind him or not, he just wanted out of there. Fast. "I'm just a fuck up. A fucking screw up that always-"
Jon snapped out of his thoughts as he heard a car horn. A driver on the road that he was just about to blindly cross, telling him not to. He waved them off, silently saying thank you. He sighed and looked both ways, before crossing the busy road and stopping on the other side. He decided to just stop and take in the view, all the lights, signs and anything else in his sight. After a minute, his phone rang. "Hello?"
"Jon? Where the hell are you man? Joe and I have been worried sick!" Jon shook his head lightly and laughed a bit before answering. "I just needed some air, man. Went for a walk." "In the pouring rain?" Colby questioned. "Oh yeah, I guess it is raining isn't it?" Jon laughed a bit more. Colby let out a frustrated groan then spoke again. "Where are you? We're coming to get you."
