Alright, hey guys! And welcome to a fluffy oneshot! Intro to Sage of Ages was too long; I'm going straight in to this one.
You May Not Rest Now, There Are Monsters Nearby
Sjin ducked under the covers of his bed. A creeper hissed and exploded. Zombies banged on the door of the house. Sjin whimpered. He couldn't sleep. No one knew, but he was terrified of the monsters that spawned in the night and were forever ruining and disturbing the compound. A skeleton shot his window. He cried out, duking under his cover once again.
Sjin glanced over to Sips' room, however, he didn't dare to knock and tell the other of his fear. Once again, that skeleton. Sjin gave a strangled cry as the glass pane of his bedroom window smashed, littering arrows and shards of glass over the light blue carpet in his room.
Sips came out of his room. "Sjin, what is up!? You woke me up crying, you big babbie – oh my god Sjin look!" a spider was crawling into the broken window
"S-s-sips! H-help me!" Sjin cowered against his headboard. Sips ran to his own room and rummaged through a chest, pulling out the first sword he came across.
He slayed the spider with ease and went to sit beside Sjin. "Why didn't you tell me you got scared?" Sips wrapped his arm around Sjin's shoulders and whispered in his ear "Do you want me to stay here tonight?" Sjin nodded, leaning against Sips and sniffing, closing his eyes and falling into a light, troubled sleep. At about midnight, he awoke. Sips was snoring lightly next to him. Sjin smiled, knowing he was safe.
Sjin was woken by a rough hand shaking his arm "wha- huh?" he sat up and rubbed his eyes
"Sjin wake up!" Sips shook him again. When Sjin's vision cleared, he saw Sips, an almost broken wooden sword in his hand and an enderman behind him. Sjin almost jumped out of his skin, issuing a choked cry. Sips did his best to slay the enderman, however, his sword soon snapped in two. Sjin tried to clamber out of his bed, but the cover of his bed twisted round his feet.
He stuck out his arms to break his fall. Ineffective. He quickly shook himself free of the blanket and quickly pulled a sword from one of his chests. A shrill scream came from Sips' direction. Then he was gone, leaving Sjin to fight alone. He was alone. "No, NO! SIPS!? Oh god oh god oh god!" Sjin yelled, swinging the diamond sword in his hands in front of him wildly.
The next thing he knew, he was holding an enderpearl, nothing in front of him. He dropped the sword. Sips came running into the room. Sjin just laughed. "I-I did it, Sips!"
"How?" was all Sips could manage in reply. Sjin gave a shaky laugh. Without knowing what he was doing, Sips planted a quick kiss on Sjin's lips. Sjin took a moment to realise what was happening, then kissed the other, slightly shorter, of the two, back.
