Prologue
It was all so clear, every memory before this one point in time, is almost tangible. Almost like if he wanted he could go back to each one and relive it, but that wasn't the case. He was here in this time, with someone who would probably kill him in the next few moments. He had a good run, I tried to make this work just for you Axel, Roxas thought to himself. He sighed sadly trying to remember when he first met the tall redhead; of course, it was the only memory that didn't come to mind. He didn't know whether to be depressed because he couldn't remember, or to be depressed because if he did it would be the last thing on his mind. It was a tough decision he supposed, he looked up at the other man walking closer and closer, with each step Roxas's heart pounded a bit faster.
Roxas didn't know why, but he didn't feel scared anymore, maybe it was just the adrenalin that was coursing through his veins. Or maybe it was the fact that he accepted death a long time ago, either way it didn't matter it would end the same way whether which was true or not.
"I have to say Roxas, you really fought hard against this, but in the end you failed." The other man said his face was half illuminated in the moon lit bedroom. The moon's light came from the open window to the side, it was a full moon, too bad werewolves didn't exist or maybe there would've been hope for him. Roxas spaced the voice out and ignored the other, going silent.
The other male smiled brightly at the younger of the two, it was a perfect day, the sun out, birds chirping wonderfully. It was probably one of the only days that Roxas could have said that he was truly happy about anything. He felt arms around his waist and looked back at the redhead that held him in his grasp. It was so surreal just too perfect one would say, but it was actually happening and nothing bad had happened yet. The wind blew and moved Roxas's already wind blown hair to and fro, it was just, so fun! Neither of the men had to say a word, it was already said by their eyes, it was love. They didn't know how long it would last, or if it even would, but that was a bridge to be burned later, now, was now.
The heat grew between them, it was seriously starting to get warm, the breeze not able to cool Roxas down quick enough. Though still no words were uttered, just a stray glance into emerald eyes every now and then. Then again he was with one of the hottest men on the planet, but he didn't know it was that hot! He giggled and covered his mouth instantly afterward, he never giggled, not once! He looked at his taller red-haired companion to see if he noticed, and of course he did. He looked down smiling then burst out in laughter; it made the younger blush bright.
"You're too cute Roxas, so perfect sometimes!" He called out still laughing in-between breathing sessions. Roxas turned away flustered, and in the end wished he hadn't.
"Come back to this Earth Roxas, I want to see your expression when I kill you." Roxas blinked a few times and looked back up at the other man; he was standing right in front of him now. His black coat shone as dark as the night sky, as dark as the deep pit that was Roxas's heart. He looked up and saw glittering white fangs from the darkness that was the hood; they were upturned in a wicked smile. "Good, that's better it'll be much more fun to see you die with you're face to me."
