Long ago, in the world of Pokémon, there were the 6 regions, Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova, and Rinaki. However, one day in Rinaki, a horrible war broke out, which eventually spread through the entire world. The two master Pokémon in the Cali part, along with the 8 Great Legendary's in the Ouran part of Rinaki, were enraged, and as a type of punishment, they separated the Oura and Cali parts of Rinaki. For a time, the regions were peaceful again, naming the parts Ouran and Caliron. A while later though, the Ouran region was transported to an unknown place by the eight legends, while Caliron was shrouded in a lost mist, making it near impossible to get there unless you were born in Caliron.
In Ouran and Caliron, despite the fact that they separated, there were still tons of problems. In Ouran, for example, there was the Team Ancient, whose goal was to put the world how it was when the war started, with people fighting with the special pokemon weapons, and Team Illusion in Caliron, whose goal was to take every pokemon in the entire world under their control to take the world for themselves. In Ouran, the 8 clans stopped Team Ancient together, as the attacks were enough for them to handle it. Caliron had a different problem altogether. Team Illusion only attacked at a certain time, but the attacks were powerful. The gym leaders alone could not deal with them. So a line of guardians rose up to defend their home and become extremly powerful trainers to prevent Team Illusion from awakening the legendary pokemon in Caliron, which are the key to their plans of total domination.
As of recently, Team Illusion has gotten hold of part of an ancient tablet that has the key to awakening the two legends. However, the guardians have the vital parts of it.
