A/N I know I have other stories going on, but this idea wouldn't go away so I wrote it out of my head.

Kurogane thrust the door closed behind him, arms laden with items from the market. Syaoran and Sakura were still there, doing something or other - Kurogane hadn't bothered to ask. He dumped the bags he was carrying onto the counter of their rental house and stared in disbelief at just how much food they had bought. According to Syaoran, they were only staying for a few days, nowhere near justifiable for the sheer amount of food on the table. Oh well, Kurogane shrugged it off, Not like it's my money anyways... suddenly a small sound caught Kurogane's attention; it was a small tapping, scraping noise. Following the sound into the living room, he found Fai standing in front of a chalkboard, chalk in hand. Where did..? Kurogane wondered why and how Fai had gotten a chalkboard, but instead of pressing the matter on the magician, he simply shook his head at Fai's stupidity.

"Kuro-pon!" Trilled Fai, just now noticing the ninja's presence.

Fai turned to face him, and Kurogane got a glimpse of the writing on the chalkboard. It was covered in stupid nicknames: Woof-woof, pippi, wanko, tan, daddy... the board was covered.

"Are these..?" Kurogane ventured.

"Your honorifics!" Fai beamed, proud of his work.

Wordlessly, Kurogane took the chalk out of Fai's hand. The Mage, clearly confused, watched with interest as Kurogane finished writing and set the chalk down. Satisfied, Kurogane left. Fai stared, a genuine smile playing at the edges of his mouth, at Kurogane's addition to his list of honorifics. It read,
