"Mom, I need to tell you something. Can you sit down with me for a minute?" Koda requested.

"Sure, hon, what do you need?" She asked.

Koda had been preparing himself for this for weeks. Romi was lucky. He didn't have to discuss this type of thing with his family because they were all dead. That sounded extremely vein, but he still didn't have to go through this awkward moment.

"Well, I-I-I'm gay mom," he stuttered. She blinked a couple of times before laughing.

"I already knew that. Mika told me. Romi, right? He's a nice man. Good for you."

Koda was surprised. His mother had taken this very well.

"Thanks mom," he replied, kissing her on the cheek and heading upstairs.
